February's Makeup buys

Hey dolls! I feel I'm finally getting back into the swing of blogging again, it's taken it's time but now I feel like I'm in a good routine & motivated! I feel like I've taken a new direction down the beauty route as fingers crossed this is where my career will be heading too! Now let's get on with today's post. I thought it would be fun to share my Makeup purchases from this month.

From left to right: Dior Airflash Foundation in shade 100, Ardell Demi Wispies lashes, Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes mascara, HD Brows Brow Beater, Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker lipgloss, Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick shade Romanesque (A more detailed post on Chanel was featured earlier this month)

I have created a slight obsession with wanting a new foundation all the time. There are so many different foundations out there to suit different skin types & occasions. For everyday use I like something light yet I want a flawless coverage & Dior Airflash is amazing!

I will do a more thorough post about this foundation in the future to explain the different ways this foundation can be applied. Just for now take my word that this is a fantastic foundation!

With my new products I have created a simple makeup look that I wear day to day.

Recently I have been suffering with breakouts & redness on my face, which does happen about once a month. Here as I hope you can see the Dior Airflash has evened out my skin tone & covered up any redness.

The Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes has added length to my eyelashes without any clumping. To me this is a great natural looking mascara. My eyebrows have also been trained in place by the Brow Beater by HD Brows which was also featured in my last post.

Lastly my Ardell lashes that I wore on a night out & for Valentines day have a gorgeous look, that feel feathery light.

Thank you for reading dolls! Lots of love Demi xxx

HD Brows

Hello everyone! I wanted to share with you one of my favourite beauty treatments that I've had done recently which was the 'HD Brows' treatment. As we all know eyebrows are a big thing of the moment, we all seem to be wanting the perfect shape, with many products on the market to help us achieve this! Naturally my eyebrows are very light especially next to my black hair but on the plus side my brows are naturally thick. I was getting really tired of having to colour in my eyebrows every morning, this would be the longest part of my makeup routine. Naturally when I saw HD Brows included tinting I knew I wanted this treatment done.
Here is a before picture of my eyebrows when I used pencil to enhance the colour and shape.
The treatment included tinting my eyebrows to compliment my hair colour. Then my eyebrows were measured to created the perfect shape including an arch. Around the shape the hairs were waxed, tweeted & threaded. I found the threading fantastic as a blending technique was done which made my eyebrows smooth & it made them look flawless! The treatment took around 45 minutes including consultation & aftercare. For £25 I thought it was fantastic value for all of these brow treatments & I would highly recommend it.
Here are my eyebrows after the treatment.
It's amazing to wake up in the morning with perfect brows, it really does make a difference to my face without makeup. I just add a tiny pencil underline just to the tail of my brows but that's it!
At any HD Brow registered salon they should stock their makeup too. I decided to purchase the 'Brow Beater' which is like a hairspray for your brows. It not only helps keep them in place throughout the day but it helps train them in place naturally. I love this product!
Let me know if any of you have had this treatment & your thoughts about it!
Until next time lots of love Demi xxx

Chanel La Romanesque

I love Spring when the days become a little brighter & we finally can start to revamp our makeup bags! I love all the new shades that come out in Spring time especially pink. When browsing the Chanel counter last week I could not stop looking at their beautiful spring collection made up of pinks & corals, so I could not resist this beautiful matte lipstick.
Rouge Allure Velvet shade 50 La Romanesque. 'Velvet' of course means this lipstick is beautifully matte & long wearing lasting all day long.
I love how this shade of pink really suits my fair complexion so it's great for us pale girls! I would love to see if any of you have a Spring makeup favourite :)
         Lots or love Demi xxxxx
